Hidden Express Game
How to Play: Hidden Express Game
When you hear about hidden object genre, what will you expect from it? Casualty isn’t it? Games of hidden object genre are supposed to be casual games. You sit in front of your screen, staring at a disheveled room that appears on the screen, and looking closely at small—and often obscured—items that you have to discover by either clicking or touching them. Because the game is casual, you have plenty of time to relax while trying to collect all of those items. In Hidden Express game, however, even by simply reading the word express, you will immediately know that the game is by no means a casual and lenient one. There is something moving very quickly that you have to chase before you run out of time. Hidden Express game is unique in that it is not as lenient and casual as other games of the same genre.
In Hidden Express game, the thing that moves very quickly is a train—you must have already guessed it, haven’t you? When you stare at the screen, you will still see a disheveled place with many random items scattered all around—a scenery that is typical of hidden object games. What is different is that right below that disheveled scene, you can see moving boxcars. You may not be aware that they are boxcars until you see the engine, which will be revealed after you remove each boxcar. Each boxcar has one or more words written on them. The words correspond to all hidden items that you have to find on the scene. When you find items that correspond to the word/words written on a boxcar, that boxcar will disappear. You successfully beat a round if all boxcars are removed and the train’s engine becomes visible. You lose the round if the train’s caboose enters the tunnel.
Will this free online game be enjoyable for you? Considering that it is not as casual as most hidden object games, beginner players may find its “express” feature annoying, unless they dare enough to accept the challenges. Veteran players, on the other hand, may enjoy the challenges very much and the “express” feature may add a thrilling sensation to their gaming experience. Nevertheless, even beginner players should actually play this game because despite its being a fast-paced game, the difficulty level has been adjusted so that the learning curve will not be too steep for them.
